The power supply for exit illumination <br /> shall be provided by batteries which are automatically <br /> 7 recharged when power is restored. Battery powered fixtures <br /> shall be used where the occupancy load exceeds thirty in <br /> 8 all occupancies. <br /> 9 For high-rise buildings, see Section 1807. Power to the other <br /> lamp shall be from a separate circuit that may supply other <br /> 21 outlets. <br /> 22 2. Separate sources of power. When separate sources of <br /> power are required for exit illumination by Section <br /> 23 3313(b)2, power to one of the lamps for exit signs shall be <br /> from storage batteries or an on-site generator set and the <br /> 24 system shall be installed in accordance with the Electrical <br /> Code.
