• <br /> 1 Section 9: NON-LIABILITY OF PEACE OFFICER. <br /> 2 A peace officer shall not be held liable in any civil action for an <br /> 3 arrest based on probable cause, enforcement in good faith of a court order, <br /> 4 or any other action or omission in good faith under this ordinance arising <br /> 5 from an alleged incident of harassment brought by any party to the incident. <br /> 6 Section 10: VIOLATION OF ANTI-HARASSMENT PROTECTION ORDER. <br /> 7 1 . Any respondent who wilfully disobeys any temporary <br /> 8 anti-harassment protection order or civil anti-harassment protection order <br /> 9 issued pursuant to Chapter 10.14 RCW, as now or hereafter amended, shall be <br /> 10 guilty of a gross misdemeanor. <br /> 11 2. As used in this section, "respondent" means the respondent of a <br /> 12 temporary anti-harassment protection order or civil anti-harassment <br /> 13 protection order issued under Chapter 10.14 RCW, as now or hereafter amended. <br /> 14 Section 11 : SEVERABILITY. <br /> 15 Should any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase <br /> 16 of this ordinance or its application to any person or situation be declared <br /> 17 unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, such decision shall not affect <br /> 18 the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance or its application <br /> 19 to any other person or situation. The City Council of the City of Everett <br /> 20 hereby declares that it would have adopted this ordinance and each section, <br /> 21 subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof irrespective of the <br /> 22 fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, phrases <br /> 23 or portions be declared invalid or unconstitutional . <br /> 24 Section 12: THIRD PARTY LIABILITY. <br /> 25 It is expressly the purpose of this ordinance to provide for and <br /> 26 promote the health, safety and welfare of the general public and not to <br /> 27 create or otherwise establish or designate any particular class or group of <br /> 28 persons who will or should be especially protected or benefited by the terms <br /> 29 of this ordinance. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 4 <br /> 32 <br />
