"Public dance" means any dance that is open to the public <br /> and which: <br /> 2 <br /> 3 1 . is held and conducted for a profit, direct or <br /> indirect; or <br /> 4 <br /> 2. requires a monetary payment or contribution from any <br /> 5 of the persons admitted. <br /> 6 <br /> The term "public dance" does not include a banquet, party or <br /> 7 celebration conducted for invited guests which is not open to the <br /> public. <br /> 8 <br /> F. "Public dance hall " means any place where a public dance is <br /> 9 conducted, operated or maintained and includes the premises in <br /> which the public dance is conducted, operated or maintained <br /> 10 including but not limited to all parking areas, hallways, <br /> bathrooms and all adjoining areas on the premises accessible to <br /> 11 the public during the dance. <br /> 12 G• Recklessly ' means that a person acts recklessly or with <br /> recklessness whenhe/she knows of and disregards a substantial <br /> 13 risk that a wrongful act may occur and his/her disregard of such <br /> substantial risk is a gross deviation from the standard of <br /> 14 conduct that a reasonable person would exercise in the same <br /> situation. <br /> 15 <br /> H. "Teen dance" means any public dance as herein defined which <br /> 16 permits the entry of persons under the age of eighteen (18) years. <br /> 17 I. "Teen dance hall " means any place where a teen dance is <br /> conducted, operated or maintained and includes the premises in <br /> 18 which the teen dance is conducted, operated or maintained, <br /> including but not limited to all parking areas , hallways, <br /> 19 bathrooms and all adjoining areas on the premises accessible to <br /> the public during the dance. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Section 2: That subsection B of Section 6 of Ordinance No.1454-88 <br /> 22 which reads as follows: <br /> 23 <br /> B. The licensee or any of the licensee's officers, directors, <br /> 24 partners, operators or any other person involved in the operation <br /> of the public dance hall have: <br /> 25 <br /> 1 . Committed any act, which, if committed by a licensee, <br /> 26 would be grounds for the suspension or revocation of <br /> a license or permit: <br /> 27 <br /> 2. Been convicted of: <br /> 28 <br /> a. A felony involving a crime of violence as <br /> 29 defined in RCW 9.41 or any felony under <br /> RCW 9A.44, RCW 69.50 or RCW 9A.88 within the <br /> 30 last five (5) years; <br /> 31 b. A crime involving prostitution, lewd conduct, <br /> or assault within the last five (5) years; or <br /> 32 <br /> 3 <br />
