CITY <br /> 2018 AGREEMENT BETWEEN CRIME STOPPERS OF PUGET SOUND <br /> AND <br /> EVERETT POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this IS day of 2017, by the <br /> Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound ("CSOPS") and the Everett Police Department <br /> RECITALS: <br /> WHEREAS, CSOPS is a partnership between the Public, the Media and Law Enforcement; and <br /> WHEREAS, CSOPS is one of 1,500 programs throughout the world that takes anonymous tips <br /> on un-solved felony crimes; and <br /> WHEREAS, CSOPS is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization (HN 91 1111118); and <br /> WHEREAS, CSOPS was notified by a major benefactor that they were reducing their financial <br /> assistance to the program; and <br /> WHEREAS, CSOPS has realized the vital community need to not only maintain current service <br /> levels, but to also keep up with expanding case load requirements; and <br /> WHEREAS, CSOPS has recognized the need to add one law enforcement coordinator to their <br /> regional office in order to keep up with the ever growing demand for services associated with <br /> the CSOPS program: <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of covenants, conditions, performances and promises <br /> hereinafter contained, the parties agree as follows: <br /> 1.0 Payment <br /> The Everett Police Department shall contribute $7,782.08 in 2018 toward paying for the costs <br /> associated with operating the CSOPS program: Payment for the year 2018 shall be paid to: <br /> Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound <br /> Attention: Jim Fuda/ Myrle Carner <br /> 610 5th Ave. <br /> P.O. Box 34986 <br /> Seattle WA, 98124-4986 <br /> The payment in full shall be made on or before January 31, 2018. <br /> 2.0 Scope of Services <br /> 2.1 Until notice of a change is given, in accordance with Section 4 below, the <br /> CSOPS shall provide the facilities necessary to operate the program, as well as <br /> the computers, telephones, etc. associated with the CSOPS program. <br />
