ORDINANCE NO. (1.14,27--FAV <br /> AN ORDINANCE annexing certain <br /> property located north of <br /> 112th Street SE from First <br /> Avenue West to Third Place SE <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.130, a petition was presented to <br /> the City Council of Everett proposing the annexation of certain property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the petition which was filed pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.130 <br /> was signed by owners of not less than seventy-five percent in value <br /> according to the assessed valuation for general taxes of the property <br /> proposed to be annexed; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council did fix September 30, 1987 for a hearing <br /> upon said petition, and cause notice of hearing to be published in one issue <br /> of the Everett Herald, a newspaper of general circulation in the City, and <br /> caused said notice also to be posted in three places within the territory <br /> proposed for annexation which notice as published and posted specified the <br /> time and place of hearing and invited interested persons to appear and <br /> testify on the annexation; and <br /> WHEREAS, following the hearing, the City of Everett Council <br /> determined to annex all of the property described in the petition, as <br /> hereinafter set forth; and <br /> WHEREAS, the required forty-five days review period for the proposed <br /> annexation has elapsed without the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board's <br /> jurisdiction having been invoked, as set forth in Chapter 477, Laws of 1987, <br /> State of Washington; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Boundary Review Board has issued its written findings on <br /> December / 5 , 1987, to this effect. <br />
