NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the property hereinafter described, be and the same <br /> is hereby annexed to the City of Everett: <br /> That portion of the SE 1/4 of Section 24, Township 28 N, Range 4 <br /> E.W.M. and the SW 1/4 of Section 19, Township 28N, Range 5 E.W.M. , <br /> described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the intersection of the Section line common to said <br /> Sections 24 and 19, and the North right-of-way line of 112th Street <br /> S.E. ; THENCE, East along said North right-of-way line to the SE <br /> corner of the Plat of Silver Lake Manor, according to the plat <br /> thereof, recorded in Volume 28 of Plats, Page 41, records of <br /> Snohomish County; THENCE, North along the East line of said plat and <br /> the Northerly projection of said East line to the North line of the <br /> South 400 feet of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of said Section 19; <br /> THENCE, West along said North line of the South 400 feet of the NW 14 <br /> of the SW 1/4 of said section and the Westerly projection thereof to <br /> its intersection with the Westerly right-of-way line of 3rd Avenue <br /> S.E. ; THENCE, North along said Westerly right-of-way line of 3rd <br /> Avenue S.E. to the Southeast corner of Lot 16, Plat of Kueffler - <br /> Tulares, 1st Add. , according to the plat thereof, recorded in Volume <br /> 56 of Plats, Page 6, records of Snohomish County; THENCE, West along <br /> the South line of said plat to the Southeast corner of Lot 42, Plat <br /> of Berg's Add. , according to the plat thereof, recorded in Volume 18 <br /> of Plats, Page 42, records of Snohomish County; THENCE, North along <br /> the East line of Lots 42 and 43 of said plat to the Northeast corner <br /> of said Lot 43; THENCE, West along the North line of said Lot 43 and <br /> the Westerly projection thereof to the Northwest corner of Lot 7 of <br /> said Berg's Add. ; THENCE, South along the West line of said plat and <br /> the Southerly projection thereof to the South right-of-way line of <br /> 112th Street S.E. ; THENCE, East along said South right-of-way line to <br /> its intersection with the Section line common to said Section 24 and <br /> 19; THENCE, North along said Section line to the POINT OF BEGINNING. <br /> Section 2: That upon annexation of the property herein above set <br /> forth, said property annexed shall become a part of the City of Everett, a <br /> municipal corporation, and shall be subject to all of its laws and <br /> ordinances then and thereafter in force. Upon annexation of the <br /> above-described property, all of said property shall be assessed and taxed <br /> at the same rate and on the same basis as other property located within the <br /> City of Everett is assessed and taxed and shall pay for any then outstanding <br /> indebtedness of the City of Everett contracted prior to or existing at the <br /> date of this annexation.
