NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special construction fund is hereby established as Fund 391, entitled "Hewitt, Oakes, and Lombard Bridge Replacement" to accumulate the design and construction costs required to design and construct the Hewitt, Oakes, and Lombard Bridge Replacements including bridge approaches, street lighting, utilities, and other necessary improvements. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to transfer the preliminary engineering funds from the existing "Traffic Engineering Improvements," Fund 368, Programs 291, 297, and 298 to the new Fund 391, Programs 924, 925 and 926, "Hewitt, Oakes, and Lombard Bridge Replacement." Section 3: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 391 for design and construction of the Hewitt, Oakes, and Lombard Bridge Replacements including bridge approaches, street lighting, utilities, and other necessary improvements. Section 4: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director," under the direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 5: The sum of $1,980,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 391, "Hewitt, Oakes, and Lombard Bridge Replacements" as follows: A. Estimated Project Costs: 1. Hewitt Avenue Bridge, Program 924 Preliminary Engineering Phase (W.O. #1685) $ 125,000 Right-of-way (W.O. #2099) 10,000 Railroad Flagging (W.O. #2110) 25,000 Construction Phase (W.O. #2100) 938,267 TOTAL ESTIMATED COST: $1,098,267 2.
