The new wet
well will be installed on the west side of the site within approximately 6 feet of the
perimeter fencing. The bank of the Swamp Creek headwater stream is within 20 feet of
the fence line. Project construction will include erosion control Best Management
Practices (BMPs) to prevent sedimentation of the stream and disturbance of the adjacent
riparian area.
Interrelated and Interdependent Actions
Interrelated actions are activities that depend on the larger action for justification.
Interdependent actions have no independent utility apart from the proposed action.
Improving the lift station access driveway will be an interrelated action. Replanting of
disturbed areas and construction/implementation of stormwater BMPs are examples of
interdependent activities associated with the proposed Holly Drive Lift Station upgrade.
IMPACT AVOIDANCE AND MINIMIZATION MEASURES
Construction of proposed lift station upgrade will be limited to the dry summer months,
and major ground-disturbing activities will be confined to the area within the fence line.
See Sheet G-2 Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control Notes.
ACTION AREA
Noise
Noise associated with construction is not likely to be audible more than 1/2 mile from the
site and equipment operation noise levels will be similar to traffic noise levels along
Holly Drive. Further, construction will be limited to normal, daytime work hours to
minimize disturbance of any particularly sensitive wildlife in the vicinity. There will be
no in-water work associated with the proposed lift station upgrade project. Therefore, the
`,

i

, ,
