Since that time,three incomplete sets of drawings <br /> and calculations for the minimum fire and egress corrections have been submitted by consultants to the owner, Mr. <br /> James Haugen. The following items are either missing or require resolution on the drawings from the third submittal: <br /> • Drawing reference to "Deferred permit required for the certificate of occupancy for allowed uses". <br /> • Drawing and calculations of the fire escape to meet the 2012 International Fire Code (IFC)section 1104.16 and <br /> the 2012 International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC) sections 702.1: <br /> o Details and calculations of the fire escape to meet dead and live load of 100 pounds per square foot. <br /> o Guard maximum openings less than six inches, per IFC 1104.6.2. <br /> o Protected openings of 3/4 hour for windows and doors within ten feet of the fire escape. <br /> o Handrail height in section and location on plans, per IPMC section 307.1. <br /> o NOTE: Per phone conversation with Fire Marshal Rick Robinsons this morning, the rise and run of the fire <br /> escape stairs wil!be accepted by the Fire Department in its current configuration. <br /> • Listing of applicable codes on the drawings from the end of the corrections letter. <br /> • New escape and rescue windows shown in all sleeping rooms(including dens) in apartments one,two and three <br /> to meet the opening and sill height requirements of the 1982 Uniform Building Code Section 1204, per the 2012 <br /> International Property Maintenance Code,Section 702.4. <br /> • Exiting from the east stairwell from the basement to the first floor to include corrected door swing, emergency <br /> lighting and exit signs in the direction of egress, per IFC section 1104.1, as amended by the State of Washington. <br /> • Repair of exposed floor electrical outlets in the main retail space on the first floor. <br /> • Carbon monoxide alarms in sleeping rooms(and dens) on the second floor, and in the gas boiler mechanical <br /> room and corridor on the first floor, per IFC section 1103.9, as amended by the State of Washington. <br /> 1 � <br /> � � <br />
