Please submit two <br /> sets of revisions, with a res�onse letter indicating how corrections are resolved on the plan set. You <br /> can send this information electronically to me, if that is easier for you. <br /> Energy <br /> 1. The new addition and building enclosure for a formerly open sided building requires a <br /> statement on the plans for path of energy compliance path for building envelope compliance, to <br /> include detailed R-Values of walls, ceilings, man-doors and garage doors, per WSEC section <br /> C402.1. <br /> a. In addition to the prescriptive path, there is also a semi-heated path, which requires <br /> documentation on the plans for the intent for use and heating of the space in WSEC <br /> section C402.1.1.1. Additional details and calculations should be submitted for <br /> indicating compliance with the code requirements of this section. <br /> b. In addition to the prescriptive path, there is also a low energy path, which requires <br /> documentation on the plans for the intent for use and heating of the space per one of <br /> the four options summarized in WSEC section C402.1.1. <br /> 2. The addition to the building triggers energy code compliance, to include documentation that <br /> either the overall building complies with the code via the paths described above, or that the <br /> new addition complies by itself with the energy code, per WSEC section C502. <br /> 3. Please indicate what mechanical system will be used to condition the space for storage, if any. <br /> The mechanical permit application can be processed simultaneously with the building permit. <br /> a. New mechanical systems and equipment serving the building heating, cooling or <br /> ventilation needs, that are part of the addition, should be shown to comply with WSEC <br /> Section C403, per WSEC section C502.2.3. <br /> 4. Please indicate the lighting fixture schedule with wattage and control narrative, per WSEC <br /> section C103.2. Interior and exterior lighting should be shown to comply with the requirements <br /> of WSEC section C405, per WSEC section C502.2.6. <br /> 5. Please include the interior lighting power compliance path (building area, space-by-space) used <br /> to calculate the lighting power allowance.
