Please review and respond to the <br /> comments below. These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be <br /> required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 2012 <br /> International Building Code (IBC), the 2012 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2012 International <br /> Mechanical Code (IMC), and the 2012 International Energy Conservation (IECC), as amended by the <br /> State of Washington and adopted by the city of Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for <br /> accessible design is the 2009 '�Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal <br /> ADA, FHA, and HUD regulations and standards, including the Fair Housing Accessibility Guidelines may be <br /> more restrictive. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br /> Building Division with two complete new sets of construction documents reflecting the <br /> corrections requested. <br /> 1. Changing the occupancy classification of the building from an A-3 to an E will <br /> require the installation of fire detection and suppression systems in accordance <br /> with IBC 3408, 907.23, and 903.2.3 (state amendment). <br /> 2. The occupant load for the lunch room should be based upon an occupant load <br /> factor of 15. This is assuming the use of tables and chairs in accordance with IBC <br /> 1004. <br /> 3. A commercial kitchen permit will be required.
