January 3, 2018 <br /> RFP AWARD — CENTER CONSOLE PATROL VESSEL <br /> Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher, to award Request for Proposal 2017-060 for a Center <br /> Console Patrol Vessel to Safe Boats International, Inc. in the amount <br /> of $323,052.07, including Washington State sales tax. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Member McNeal who abstained from the vote. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING — SURPLUS AND TRANSFER OF REAL <br /> PROPERTY: <br /> There was no presentation from staff. <br /> President Tuohy opened the public hearing declaring a portion of the <br /> approximately 21-acre City-owned Real Property located at 6107 <br /> Berkshire Drive, commonly known as the Water Reservoir #3 Site, as <br /> surplus and authorizing its transfer to Catholic Housing Services of <br /> Western Washington. <br /> President Tuohy invited public comment. <br /> Aaron Powell, Everett, spoke against the low-barrier housing project and <br /> transfer of City property to Catholic Housing Services. <br /> Paula Townsell, Everett, stated she misunderstood that City property was <br /> being surplused, and expressed concern about the lack of future City <br /> accountablility for the low-barrier housing project. <br /> Moved by Council Member Moore, seconded by Council Member <br /> Bader, to close the public hearing. <br /> 9 <br />
