The site, which is yet to <br /> be located, will need to be approximately 45 , 000 square <br /> feet and provide parking for approximately 60 cars. <br /> The improvements described in this Section 2 .C. shall <br /> be referred to herein as the "Library Project. " <br /> D. Parks and Recreation Improvements <br /> (1) Forest Park. Capital improvements to the recre- <br /> ation and maintenance facilities shall be constructed <br /> at Forest Park, the major recreational facility in the <br /> City. <br /> (2) Silver Lake Park. Capital improvements shall be <br /> constructed both in Silver Lake Park and on the newly <br /> acquired public shoreline. This project would include <br /> relocation of Silver Lake Drive around the park and <br /> improvements to the parking area. Also included would <br /> be pedestrian trail development and improvements to the <br /> interior of Thornton Sullivan (Silver Lake) Park. <br /> (3) Kasch Park Soccer and Softball Fields. <br /> Three all-weather soccer fields and four tournament <br /> quality softball fields shall be constructed at Kasch <br /> Park. This project shall include lights for extended <br /> hours of use, parking facilities, concession stands <br /> with announcing booth, restrooms and landscaping. <br /> (4) Walter Hall Park Soccer Fields. Three <br /> youth, turf soccer fields without lights shall be <br /> constructed and parking and restroom facilities shall <br /> be improved. <br /> (5) Smith Island (DNR Boat Launch) .
