. it ' <br /> . <br /> 1 2. Athletic coaches or trainers affiliated with public <br /> or private educational institutions or athletic <br /> 2 organizations; <br /> 3. Students enrolled in schools of massage performing <br /> 3 such practices of massage as are incidental to their <br /> course of study. <br /> 4 B. The provisions of this title do not apply to: <br /> 5 1. Massage treatments given by physicians, surgeons, <br /> 6 chiropractors, osteopaths, accupuncturists, physical <br /> therapists or naturopathics who are duly licensed or <br /> certified to practice their respective professions in <br /> the State of Washington; <br /> 8 2. Persons practicing massage under the direct <br /> supervision of physicians, surgeons, chiropractors, <br /> osteopaths, accupuncturists, physical therapists or <br /> naturopathics duly licensed by the State of <br /> 10 Washington. Direct supervision shall mean that the <br /> massage is given on the premises of or in the <br /> 11 presence of such physicians, surgeons, chiropractors, <br /> osteopaths, accupuncturists, physical therapists or <br /> 12 naturopathics; <br /> 3 . Nurses who are registered as such under the laws of <br /> 13 the State of Washington and who act under the <br /> direction and control of a duly licensed physician. <br /> 14 C.
