• ORDINANCE NO. / ? 34 - F 7 AN ORDINANCE amending section 2 and adding section 10 to Ordinance No . 787-81 as amended by Ordinance 852-82 which created "1981 Block Grant Neighborhood Improvement Fund No. 349. " Section 1 : That Section 2 of Ordinance No . 787-81 as amended by Ordinance 852-82 which read as follows : Section 2 : Authorization is hereby given to provide for the development of contract plans , specifications and detailed cost estimates and construction required to provide the following : A . Lowell Neighborhood Improvements 1. Allocate funds to the Council for a Greater Everett to provide support services to the Riverside Neighborhood (Funds to be Allocated - $1 , 000) 2. Capital Construction Projects (Funds to be Allocated - $82, 000) The following is being added for clarification : 3 . Engineering and Design of Neighborhood Improvement Projects. ($13, 500) B . Northeast Everett Neighborhood Improvements 1 . Construct sidewalk on the west side of Walnut from 9th Street to Butler (estimated project cost : $4 , 100 . ) 2 . Construct curb, gutter, and sidewalk on both sides of the 1200 block of Maple (estimated project cost : $51 , 000) . 3. Continue youth recreation program (project cost : $12 , 000) . 4. $1 , 000 to the Council for a Greater Everett for neighborhood fair share assistance for support services to Northeast Everett Neighborhood Organization. 5. Construct a sidewalk on the south side of Highway 99 from 7th Street to Walnut (estimated project cost : $7, 600) . 6. Overlay roadbed on 5th Street from Pilchuck Path to Walnut Street (estimated project cost : $6 , 325) . 7. Construct curb, gutter, and sidewalk on the northwest corner of 19th Street and Pine Street intersection (estimated project cost : $1 ,900) . The following projects are being added per Resolution No. 2064 : 8. 1100 Block of Maple - curb, gutters , sidewalks , drainage , and street overlay. ($50, 000)
