1 F. Septage. Any material from a cesspool, privy, septic tank , or <br /> 2 other on-site disposal system shall not be discharged into the sewerage <br /> 3 system except at points and in a manner prescribed by the Director . <br /> 4 G. Supplemental Limitations. No Discharger shall discharge <br /> 5 wastewater containing materials in concentrations (and/or mass limitations) <br /> 6 which exceed the following values: <br /> 7 Daily Maximum Discharge <br /> Parameter Concentration, mg/1 <br /> 8 <br /> Arsenic 0.5 <br /> 9 Cadmium 1.2a <br /> Chromium (total) 6.0 <br /> 10 Copper 3.0 <br /> Cyanide (total) 1.9a <br /> 11 Lead 3.0 <br /> Mercury 0 .1 <br /> 12 Nickel 5 .0 <br /> Silver 4.0 <br /> 13 Zinc 4.0 <br /> 14 aEPA categorical standard for existing source electroplaters <br /> discharging 10 ,000 gpd or more. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 H. Mass Limitations. The Director may impose mass limitations on <br /> 17 Discharges which are using dilution to meet the Pretreatment Standards or <br /> 18 Requirements of this ordinance, or in other cases where the imposition of <br /> 19 mass limitations is deemed appropriate by the Director. <br /> 20 Section 5: ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGES. <br /> 21 A. Protection Procedures. Each Discharger shall provide <br /> 22 protection from accidental discharge of materials or substances prohibited <br /> 23 or limited under this ordinance into the Municipal Sewer System or into <br /> 24 waters of the state. Where necessary, facilities to prevent accidental <br /> 25 discharge of prohibited materials shall be provided and maintained at the <br /> 26 Discharger 's cost and expense. Detailed plans showing facilities and <br /> 27 operating procedures to provide this protection shall be submitted to the <br /> 28 Director for review, and shall be approved by the Director before <br /> 29 construction of the facility. Each Discharger, where requested by the <br /> 30 Director , shall complete its plan and submit same to the Director within 90 <br /> 31 days of being notified by the Director. No Discharger who discharges to <br /> 32 <br /> 8 <br />
