He <br /> also stated that he is working on improving the processes for the <br /> cooperation between the Council and the Mayor's office. President Roberts <br /> stated that he asked Council Member Bader to serve as a vice president for <br /> 2018. He is also working on updating council procedures, which include <br /> creation of a real estate subcommittee, consideration for all night council <br /> meetings, improving process efficiency, and dedication of more time to <br /> policy discussion. He suggested that the Council focus on the structural <br /> budget deficit.
