•
Have you had time to perform a field observation and provide an opinion at the front driveway situation and alleyway
West access of 3312 Lombard Av?
Please let me know?
Thanks
Eddie
Edward Golden
Code Enforcement Officer
City of Everett
X8561
From: Kirk Brooks
Sent: Wednesday, June 07, 2017 9:08 AM
To: Paul McKee; Edward Golden; Randy Allen
Cc: Steve Ingalsbe
Subject: RE: CE17-0468 Complaint of non-approved parking area in front yard 3312 Lombard Avenue
Eddie,
This stretch of Lombard has commercial and residential uses with frequent driveways off the street for a variety of
reasons. Allowance of a street driveway at this location and use will be predicated on it being reasonable to take access
off the alley for the intended us.To make that determination I will ask one of our Public Works inspectors to malce a
field observation and provide an opinion. If we determine that access from the alley is not practicable then a permit for
a street driveway may be granted.
However, the construction show on the photo in no way meets current driveway standards for construction and would
need to be revised substantially. This would warrant expenses to be borne by the applicant. For instance, the driveway
will need to be paved with an approved material, the sidewalk will need to be removed and replaced with a curb-drop
(will require saw-cutting and some asphalt removal as well). This work will need to be done by a licensed contractor.
Randy, Can you check this out and see if you thing a driveway off the alley is doable?
Thank, Kirk
From: Paul McKee
Sent: Wednesday, June 07, 2017 8:19 AM
To: Kirk Brooks; Edward Golden
Cc: Steve Ingalsbe
Subject: RE: CE17-0468 Complaint of non-approved parking area in front yard 3312 Lombard Avenue
Welcome Aboard Eddie!
Kirk, could you please take a look at this and discuss options with Eddie?
Thanks,
Z ; ,
