• <br /> • <br /> 1 other than the service address, and desires to have the water charges, <br /> notices and other communications sent to an address other than the <br /> 2 service address, any such owner or authorized agent shall first submit <br /> in writing such request to the Utilities Superintendent. Such request <br /> 3 shall clearly state the date and nature of the request, the effective <br /> date, the service address, the separate mailing address to which the <br /> 4 water charges, notices and other communications are to be sent and the <br /> signature of the owner or authorized agent. The party submitting such <br /> 5 request shall thereafter be responsible for providing written notice of <br /> any changes in the request until such time that he shall, in writing, <br /> 6 withdraw the request. Thereupon the water charges, notices and other <br /> communications shall be sent to the premises to which water service is <br /> 7 being furnished. <br /> 8 Section 65: Bimonthly Charges--Dates Due and Payable. <br /> 9 A. All water accounts shall be sent a statement of charges on a bimonthly <br /> basis. <br /> 10 <br /> B. All water accounts served on a fixed rate basis shall be due and <br /> 11 payable in advance, not later than the fifteenth day after the date <br /> shown on the bimonthly statement, and, if not paid within such time, <br /> 12 shall be considered delinquent. A refund or credit will be given by <br /> the Utilities Division on fixed rate charges paid in advance in the <br /> 13 event of a vacancy; provided, that notice in writing shall have been <br /> submitted to the Utility Billing Division at the time such vacancy <br /> 14 occurred. No such refund nor credit shall be given if the notice is <br /> not submitted as required. <br /> 15 <br /> C. All metered water accounts shall be due and payable not later than the <br /> 16 fifteenth day after the date shown on the bimonthly statement, and if <br /> not paid within such time, shall be considered delinquent. <br /> 17 <br /> Section 66: Service Shut-off and Penalty for Delinquent Charges. <br /> 18 <br /> If payment for water charges shall become delinquent, water service may <br /> 19 <br /> be immediately shut off from the premises of any owner, tenant or occupant <br /> 20 <br /> of the same until all arrears have been paid together with the penalty <br /> 21 <br /> charge for the expense incurred for processing, inspection, shutting off and <br /> 22 <br /> turning on the service, in the amount established under the current water <br /> 23 <br /> rates and charges schedule. <br /> 24 <br /> Section 67: Method of Payment. <br /> 25 <br /> All charges for water service, penalties and special charges shall be <br /> 26 <br /> payable to the City Treasurer at his office in the City Hall, or at such <br /> 27 <br /> other collection station locations as may be designated by the City Council. <br /> 28 <br /> Section 68: Service Disconnection at Main. <br /> 29 <br /> If, in the judgment of the Superintendent, it may become necessary to <br /> 30 <br /> disconnect a service at the main in order to enforce a service connection <br /> 31 <br /> shut-off to a delinquent customer or other shut-off, the actual cost of such <br /> 32 <br /> 26 <br />
