o As-built drawings for public projects are not available on Map Everett. Information
regarding public projects will be provided to the Consultant by the City's Project
Manager as needed.
o The Consultant will not be responsible for formal meeting notes for pre-
application meetings attended.
2. Land use application reviews:
o Submittals are typically posted on the City's FTP site, which will be made
accessible to the Consultant.
o The typical time frame for land use application review is 10 business days,
although occasional requests come with quicker turn-around time requests.
3. Construction permit reviews in separated areas:
o Typical review times are as follows:
■ First review of construction documents will typically be conducted within 2
weeks of receiving documents.
■ For larger or more complex projects, first review of construction
documents may take approximately 3 weeks.
■ Second and third submittal reviews typically completed within 3 business
days; however, review of major resubmittals may take longer, as agreed
upon with the City's Project Manager.
■ Specific timelines will be discussed and agreed upon with the City's
Project Manager prior to commencing each review.
o The City typically receives hard copy full-size plans and report submittals, but
can require and obtain electronic submittals when needed.
o When hard copy only submittals are received, the City's Project Manager will
mail a copy of those submittals to the Consultant.
o The City prefers comments from the Consultant be e-mailed to the City's Project
Manager, rather than provided on the hard copy submittals via regular mail, to
expedite the review process. When comments are provided via e-mail, the
Consultant is not required to return the hard copies to the City.
4. The Consultant and City Project Manager will review the requested services in this task
and will agree on the scope and review time frame before commencing work on any
requested services. The Not-to-Exceed budget amount will be allocated between Tasks
100 and 200 and the budget remaining will be reviewed by the City and Consultant
Project Manager during the discussion of services requested to provide that there is
sufficient remaining budget to complete the requested task(s) or alter the service request
as needed to accommodate remaining budget.
City of Everett:2018-19 Permitting Services On-Call 5
