(HWA) is pleased to present this proposed scope of work <br /> for geotechnical engineering services associated with the Everett Station Park and Ride <br /> Expansion Project in Everett, Washington. This scope of work is based on our understanding of <br /> the project and conversations we had with Perteet. <br /> PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br /> It is our understanding that the Everett Transit proposes to expand the Everett Transit Center <br /> Park and Ride facility. This expansion will include extending the parking lot to the south. The <br /> parking lot expansion will include an asphalt pavement section, additional illumination and <br /> stormwater facilities. Based on our understanding of the project objectives, HWA proposes the <br /> following geotechnical engineering services scope of work for the project. <br /> GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES SCOPE <br /> The proposed work will include the following tasks: <br /> Geotechnical Project Setup: <br /> • Attend Project Kickoff Meeting: HWA will attend one project kickoff meeting with the <br /> Everett Transit and the design team. This meeting will review project objectives, <br /> communication protocol and schedule. HWA assumes that this meeting will take <br /> place at Perteet's Everett Office. <br /> • Collect and Review Available Geotechnical Data: HWA will review readily available and <br /> relevant information along the project site.
