U <br />40-27 BUILDING PROJECT PERMITS <br />BRPH ARCHITECTS -ENGINEERS, INC. <br />SECTION 01 05 50 - PROJECT PERMITS <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.1 RELATED DOCUMENTS <br />A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and <br />Supplementary Conditions, apply to this Section. <br />1.2 DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br />A. The work outlined in this Section includes the providing of all labor, materials, and <br />services as required by Federal, State, and local codes. <br />1.3 RULES AND REGULATIONS <br />A. All Contractors, Subcontractors, and bidders providing services related to the <br />environment shall be held responsible for a level of competency with respect to the <br />regulatory requirements within their area of expertise. <br />B. It shall be contingent on the Contractor and all Subcontractors to adhere to all such <br />legal requirements as mandated by the law, the permits, and/or the requirements of the <br />applicable agencies. Further, it is contingent on the subcontract bidders to be aware of <br />the requirements normally mandated by the approval agencies listed hereinafter and in <br />turn, to provide a bid price sufficient to include all special requirements that could be <br />required by the permitting agencies. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS (NOT USED) <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.1 PROJECT PERMITS <br />A. The Contractor shall not begin construction of any portion of the general site water or <br />stormwater system prior to receipt of all federal, state, and local construction permits <br />as indicated in this section. <br />B. The Contractor shall be required to adhere to all requirements of the permits. Included <br />in adherence thereto is compliance with all conditions of the permit as well as <br />requirements implied in the laws, ordinances, and regulations. These shall include but <br />not be limited to material and construction standards, environmental protection, <br />certifications, notifications, and special conferences. The following permit applications <br />have been or shall be made by the Engineer to the agencies noted, any other required <br />permits shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. <br />C06922.001.00 <br />01 05 50 - 1 <br />05-22-14 <br />
