40-27 BUILDING <br />PROJECT PERMITS I <br />BRPH ARCHITECTS -ENGINEERS, INC. <br />AGENCY <br />Department of Ecology <br />State of Washington <br />City of Everett <br />City of Everett <br />3.2 PERMIT POSTING <br />PERMIT APPLICATION <br />Notice of Intent (NOI) for Stormwater Discharges from <br />Large and Small Construction Activities, NPDES <br />State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Permit <br />Building Permit <br />A. The Owner shall make available to the Contractor upon issuance of the Notice to <br />Proceed copies of all permits with conditions related thereto. The Contractor shall post <br />on a weatherproof display board all actual permits and keep, suitably accessible for <br />use by the Owner and representatives of the approval agencies, the actual permits and <br />related materials such as drawings. <br />3.3 CONTRACTOR -FURNISHED SYSTEMS <br />A. Certain systems in the project are to be furnished in compliance with the designs <br />indicated. The designs indicated are not intended to be proprietary. It is contingent on <br />the bidders marketing such systems in the State of Washington and the Contractors <br />installing such systems to provide systems that are acceptable to the local utility <br />authority as well as to the governmental agencies who approve the design shop <br />drawings and accept the "As -Built" condition of the systems. If anytime during the <br />construction process some portions of the systems prove to be unacceptable to the <br />governmental agencies or the local utility authority, the systems shall be modified, <br />corrected, or replaced until they are made acceptable. It shall be contingent on the <br />Contractor to propose only on systems that are acceptable to the local utility authority <br />and the applicable governmental agencies. <br />B. The water and stormwater systems shall not be put into operation for purposes other <br />than testing for leaks and system functions prior to receipt of all required federal, state, <br />and local agency clearance and operating permits. <br />3.4 FINAL CERTIFICATION <br />A. The Builder will provide to the Designer "As-Built/Record" drawings, prepared by a <br />surveyor licensed in the State of Washington, on all systems covered by the permits <br />and the wastewater system a minimum of sixty (60) days prior to building occupancy to <br />allow for the Designer to obtain the required final "As-Built/Record" acceptance, <br />certification, and/or operating permits. In most cases including the water and <br />stormwater facilities, said agency acceptance will be required prior to occupancy of the <br />facility or use of any part of the systems. The Contractor shall be advised that the use <br />of unaccepted systems such as potable water systems, sanitary sewer systems, and <br />those systems that would affect the health and safety of the employees of the <br />Contractor, the Owner, or the public at large shall be at the risk of the Contractor. The <br />Contractor shall use care in controlling and regulating the use of such systems. Any <br />fines levied by the permitting agencies as the result of operating systems prior to <br />agency acceptance shall be paid by the Contractor at no additional cost to the Owner. <br />C06922.001.00 01 05 50 - 2 <br />05-22-14 , <br />
