40-27 BUILDING <br />PROJECT PERMITS I <br />BRPH ARCHITECTS -ENGINEERS, INC. <br />3.8 SUBMITTALS AND TESTING <br />A. The Contractor shall provide all necessary submittals such as shop drawings and test <br />reports as may be required by the utility authorities or permitting agencies. <br />3.9 "AS-BUILT/RECORD" DRAWINGS <br />A. The Contractor shall provide upon completion of the work or portions thereof, "As- <br />Built/Record" drawings prepared by a surveyor licensed in the State ofWashington , as <br />required by and acceptable to all permitting agencies. Agencies require submittal from <br />the Designer of certified "As-Built/Record" drawings prior to placement of systems into <br />service. <br />B. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to provide drawings in a timely manner and/or <br />to accept responsibility for all agency monetary fines resulting from his failure to submit <br />"As-Built/Record" drawings in a timely manner, or for his premature operation of a <br />system prior to receipt of the system construction approval from the applicable <br />agencies. <br />C. The Contractor shall provide all layout using a surveyor licensed in the State <br />ofWashington. Following construction this same surveyor shall resurvey the final <br />construction as part of the site wide final as built survey. The Contractor shall check <br />this final as built, make all necessary field changes, resurvey the affected areas, and <br />submit the survey to the Designer in separate submittals as required for the final <br />certification to the applicable governmental agencies. <br />3.10 SURFACE WATER QUALITY <br />A. Beside full adherence to the requirements of the Department of Health and <br />Environmental Conservation, the Contractor shall not discharge any stormwater runoff <br />from the construction process off the project site. In the event that stormwater runoff <br />from construction activities discharges off site, the Contractor shall be responsible for <br />obtaining any permits required from EPA and paying any fines associated with non- <br />compliance. <br />END OF SECTION 01 05 50 <br />C06922.001.00 01 05 50 - 4 <br />05-22-14 ' <br />
