40-27 BUILDING <br />STRUCTURE DEMOLITION <br />BRPH ARCHITECTS -ENGINEERS, INC. <br />SECTION 02 41 19 - STRUCTURE DEMOLITION <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />A. It is required that Bidders read and familiarize themselves with the specifications, <br />plans and any letters and amendments contained within the Bid Documents <br />referenced and visit the site. <br />B. Obtain City of Everett Demolition Permit. Contractor shall coordinate with Boeing <br />Construction Manager and assure that The Boeing Company (Boeing) has obtained <br />any Washington State Department of Ecology and/or Puget Sound Air Pollution Control <br />Authority permits. <br />C. Contractor shall comply with Boeing Service Provider Manual. <br />1.2 SUMMARY <br />A. Section includes: <br />1. Phased demolition and removal of selected buildings or structure. <br />2. Phased demolition and removal of selected site elements. <br />1.3 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Regulatory Requirements: Comply with governing EPA notification regulations before <br />beginning demolition. Comply with hauling and disposal regulations of authorities <br />having jurisdiction. <br />B. Standards: Comply with Federal, State and Local regional requirements. <br />1.4 PROJECT CONDITIONS <br />A. Owner will occupy portions of site and buildings within and immediately adjacent to <br />demolition area. Phase and conduct demolition so Owner's operations will be <br />minimally disrupted. <br />B. Conditions existing at time of inspection for bidding purpose will be maintained by <br />Owner as far as practical. <br />C.
