January 31, 2018 <br /> District Board meeting. Council Member Murphy announced that the Budget <br /> and Finance Subcommittee will meet on February 7, at 5:30 p.m., in the <br /> council chambers. <br /> President Roberts announced that a Council Retreat is scheduled for <br /> February 21 at 4 p.m. in the council chambers. He stated that he distributed <br /> the 2018 liaison assignments to Council. President Roberts stated that <br /> assignments will be updated when the Real Estate Subcommittee and the <br /> Economic Development Advisory Committee are established. He also <br /> announced that he asked Council Member Tuohy, as the chair of the Public <br /> Safety Subcommittee, to look at the SERS 911 radio system. <br /> Council Member Tuohy stated that the Public Safety Subcommittee will look <br /> at the SERS 911 radio system topic in February and the Council will be <br /> briefed in March. <br /> President Roberts also reported on his attendance at the Association of <br /> Washington Cities legislative conference. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Lyle Ryan, Administration, had no report. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Assistant City Attorney Rathbun had no comments. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Sean Renfro, Everett, spoke about Everett's growing community. <br /> Sharita Burton, Everett, spoke about the importance of community <br /> engagement. In addition, she expressed her thankfulness to Wendy <br /> McClure and Carol Thomas for their work. <br /> 41 <br />
