B. Do not construct, install or place in operation temporary process pumping and piping facilities <br /> until Engineer has reviewed and approved each planned bypass. <br /> C. Temporary Sewage Control and Bypass Pumping Plan: At a minimum, to include the <br /> following: <br /> 1. Name, qualifications, and references of the Supplier providing the pumping facilities, ' <br /> including a minimum of three jobs of similar scope and complexity. <br /> 2. Description of the pumps to be used, including pump curves and calculation of pumping <br /> capacity required. <br /> 3. Description of the temporary primary and backup power supply, and estimated fuel I <br /> consumption for engine-driven pumps and generators. <br /> 4. Description of the control equipment, the temporary control panel(s) and the method to be <br /> 111 <br /> used to operate the pumps. <br /> 5. Drawing showing the layout and routing of bypass pumping equipment,piping, and valves <br /> with associated sizes and dimensions. <br /> 6. Drawing showing the layout and routing of proposed electrical service connections, <br /> including conductor types and sizes, conduits and routing, with associated sizes and <br /> dimensions. <br /> 7. Drawing showing the layout of the force main. The drawing shall show details of any , <br /> portions of the force main routing that is installed below grade. <br /> 8. Pump maintenance plan describing regular maintenance to be performed while the pumps <br /> are in service and the length of the maintenance period when a pump will be out of service. <br /> 9. Contingency plan describing steps to be taken if a pump fails and emergency contact phone <br /> numbers. Alarms shall be sent to Contractor and notify City personnel of any and all <br /> alarms. <br /> 10. Noise levels at minimum and maximum operating speed. ' <br /> D. Results of field pressure test of temporary piping shall be submitted prior to startup of <br /> temporary pumping operation. <br /> 1.3 CONTINUITY OF OPERATION <br /> A. Plan work so that the need to bypass and/or provide temporary pumping is kept to the absolute , <br /> minimum. <br /> B. Once initiated, temporary pumping must be kept in operation, except as specified herein,until ' <br /> the new facilities are accepted by Owner and capable of accepting the raw sewage. <br /> C. Execute Work in such a way to allow reasonable access to the facilities by Owner. , <br /> D.
