I <br /> 3.04 DEMOLISH CHAIN LINK FENCING: <br /> A. Where indicated on the drawings,remove chain link fencing only to the limits defined,or the <br /> nearest approved post. Identify the last post to remain and replace with new terminal post. <br /> Remove all necessary hardware, railings, posts, and footings. Backfill footing excavations <br /> with approved fill as required. <br /> 3.05 DEMOLISH CAST-IN-PLACE CONCRETE: <br /> A. Identify areas of existing Cast-in-Place Concrete to be removed by marking and offsetting as <br /> appropriate with grease pencil or paint for approval of the Engineer prior to commencing <br /> this work. When markings are approved, provide a clean, saw-cut edge through a minimum <br /> of 2/3 of the thickness of the material to be removed to protect adjacent concrete to remain. <br /> Use care to protect edge to remain as saw-cut edge will remain as a finished edge against <br /> ' new Concrete work (Section 03 30 00). Completely remove Concrete including base rock, <br /> to a total depth as required by the Engineer <br /> ' 3.06 SELECTIVELY DEMO EXISTING IRRIGATION SYSTEMS: <br /> A. Prior to commencing work Contractor shall identify areas of existing irrigation system, <br /> piping, valves, boxes, heads, controllers and control wiring that shall be removed and/or <br /> replaced as part of the work. Contractor shall provide a drawing showing field locations of <br /> existing irrigation to be impacted, coordination with all elements of work by the contractor <br /> and the proposed final configuration of the work for approval by the Engineer. All impacts <br /> ' to irrigation system shall be approved by the Engineer in advance, All irrigation work shall <br /> conform to the requirements of section 32-80-00 Irrigation systems <br /> ' 3.07 SELECTIVELY DEMO EXISTING DRAINAGE SYSTEMS: <br /> A. Prior to commencing work Contractor shall identify areas of existing drainage system, that <br /> ' shall be removed and/or replaced as part of the work. Contractor shall provide a drawing <br /> showing field locations of existing system to be impacted, coordination with all elements of <br /> work by the contractor and the proposed final configuration of the work for approval by the <br /> ' Engineer. All impacts to drainage shall be approved by the Engineer in advance. <br /> 3.08 DISPOSAL OF MATERIALS: <br /> A. The Contractor, in a manner consistent with all government regulations, shall dispose of the <br /> refuse resulting from demolition. In no case shall refuse material be left on the project site, <br /> or be buried in embankments or trenches on the project site. All effort shall be made to <br /> recycle materials whenever possible.
