I <br /> CITY OF EVERETT PUBLIC WORKS 00 22 13 <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS <br /> TO BIDDERS <br /> 6) One of the example projects shall include sod removal and topsoil <br /> management. <br /> c. Contractor shall be registered in Washingtion State <br /> 2. Documentation of Project Experience: This Bidder or subcontractor shall demonstrate t <br /> compliance with the above project experience criteria by submitting the required Project <br /> Description Form provided in Document 00 45 13 for four(4)past projects completed by <br /> the Bidding firm. The following requirements apply: <br /> a. Each project must be a golf facility completed within the past five (5)years. <br /> b. Each project must be open and in good operating condition for at least one year. <br /> c. Only those projects where the complete construction of the facility has been the <br /> sole responsibility of the Bidder's firm will be considered acceptable projects. <br /> d. One Project Description Form must be completely filled out for each project. <br /> e. The projects must be described in sufficient detail for the Owner to confirm that <br /> the Bidder has experience for all construction and skill elements described by <br /> Section 1.03.A. <br /> f. If a Contractor cannot provide this information or if it is unverifiable,the Bid shall <br /> be rejected. <br /> g. Each project listed must be similar in complexity to this project. <br /> 3. Documentation of Personnel Experience: To be considered a qualified and responsible I <br /> Bidder, each participating firm shall directly employ supervisory and lead personnel <br /> meeting the qualifications provided in the Division 32, golf course technical <br /> specifications, specifically as relates to Site Superintendent Shaper/Finisher/Golf Course <br /> Irrigation Installer and Foremen. <br /> Each Superintendent, Shaper/Finisher, Supervisor, Foreman, and/or Alternate Foreman <br /> utilized by the Bidder and/or its subcontractors shall have successfully performed and <br /> completed a minimum of two similar projects equal or greater in scale and complexity to <br /> this Project, as applicable to the proposed role of the individual in this Project. The <br /> Bidder shall demonstrate compliance with this requirement by completing the Personnel <br /> Qualifications Form provided in Document 00 45 13. <br /> B. Expereince of Subcontractor (Irrigation Contractor). Irrigation systems at golf courses are not <br /> considered standard landscaping construction; they require unique understanding, methods, <br /> materials, features, finishes, and coordination with many golf specific trades. All work must be <br /> carefully sequenced and completed with precision for the golf facility to function and be <br /> properly maintained. <br /> 1. Criteria: To be considered a qualified and responsible Bidder, the Bidder shall provide <br /> documentation establishing that the Irrigation Contractor has satisfied the expeince <br /> requirements listed below: <br /> a. The Irrigaton Contractor must be a Washington State Landscape Industry <br /> Professional and has passed the Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) <br /> exam. <br /> b. The Irrigation Contractor Shall be a Certified Irrigation Contractor of the GCBAA. <br /> c. The Irrigation Contractor shall furnish a team with considerable experience and <br /> have demonstrated ability in the installation of a new irrigation system on a golf <br /> course in a neat, orderly, and responsible manner in accordance with recognized <br /> standards of workmanship.
