I <br /> SECTION 26 00 00 - ELECTRICAL GENERAL <br /> PART 1 GENERAL <br /> 1.1 DEFINITIONS: <br /> A. The words"plans"and"drawings"are used interchangeably in this specification and in all cases <br /> shall be interpreted to mean "drawings". <br /> B. The word"provide" shall be interpreted to mean furnish and install. <br /> C. "Owner" shall be the City of Everett. <br /> D. "Contractor" is the party who furnishes and installs all tools, materials and equipment. This <br /> includes the Prime Contractor,the Electrical Contractor,Control System Integrator,and all <br /> other Contractors and Sub Contractors. <br /> ' E. "Control System Hardware Integrator" also referred to as the System Integrator or Integrator <br /> is the Party that furnishes all control components and designs the detailed control wiring <br /> diagrams plus the layout and assembly of the custom control panels. <br /> F. "Control System Software Integrator" also referred to as the Software Integrator is the Party <br /> that furnishes all the RTU programming, telemetry configuration and central station <br /> SCADA configuration. The City shall provide the software programming on this project. <br /> G. "Control System" includes all equipment, instruments and wiring for control and monitoring <br /> of all operating pumps and equipment. This includes custom control panels,motor control <br /> center, packaged control panels, and control equipment furnished with other systems and <br /> mechanical equipment. All sensing, transmitting, indicating, control and recording of all <br /> functions as specified and shown are also included in the control system. <br /> 1.2 GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: <br /> A. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment and services required to <br /> complete the furnishing, installation, wiring, connection, calibration, adjustment, testing <br /> and operation of all electrical equipment,devices and components as indicated and implied <br /> by the plans and these specifications. <br /> B. Complete the wiring to, connection to, adjustment and calibration of, testing of equipment <br /> having electric motors and/or built-in or furnished electrical components. Install electrical <br /> components that are furnished with mechanical equipment. <br /> C. Complete the procurement,installation,wiring,connection,calibration,adjustment,testing and <br /> operation of all electrical devices, components, accessories and equipment which is not <br /> shown or specified but which is nonetheless required to make the systems shown and <br /> specified function properly. <br /> D. The Contractor shall install and make all connections to the equipment furnished by the Owner. <br /> E.
