Provide adequate space for the electrical installation,including but not limited to,determination <br /> of access-ways and doorways, shipping sections,wall and floor space, and space occupied <br /> by mechanical equipment. Provide electrical equipment that fits in the areas shown on the <br /> drawings. All equipment shall be readily accessible for maintenance, shall have electrical <br /> clearances in accordance with NEC and shall be installed in locations that will provide <br /> adequate cooling. , <br /> G. Check electrical equipment prior to installation so that defective equipment is not installed. <br /> Acceptance testing for electrical equipment shall be performed as discussed in Section <br /> 16921. <br /> H. Provide start-up,follow-up and training of the Owner's personnel for electrical systems. Make <br /> all corrective measures required during start-up. See specific requirements for training and <br /> start-up in other specification sections. <br /> I. Provide field services of qualified technicians to supervise and check out the installation of the <br /> equipment, to supervise and check out interconnecting wiring, to conduct start-up of <br /> operation of the equipment, and to correct any problems,which occur during start-up. <br /> J. Provide circuit breakers, conduit, wire and installation for all items, which require 120 VAC , <br /> power. <br /> K. Provide demolition of existing equipment per specification section 16011. <br /> L. The transfer switches, RTU's, control panels, and instrumentation shall be supplied through <br /> the Control System Integrator I <br /> 1.3 EQUIPMENT COORDINATION <br /> A. The Contractor is responsible to coordinate the equipment supplied from various I <br /> manufacturers. This includes but is not limited to: <br /> 1. Obtaining specific information on equipment ratings and sizes and verifying the <br /> electrical components supplied meet, or match the requirements such as voltage, <br /> phase, frequency, starter types, etc. <br /> 111 <br /> 2. Verifying the equipment supplied will fit within the space allocated. <br /> 3. Coordination of equipment and the electrical power and control requirements. Providing power and control equipment, wiring, and raceways to meet the <br /> requirements of the mechanical equipment supplied. <br /> 5.
