/IP h ORDINANCE NO. 3003-07 An Ordinance Amending the City's Local Project Review Procedures, Section 2(A) of Chapter 4 of Ordinance No. 2530-01 (EMC 15.16.040), and Section 3(B) of Chapter 4 of Ordinance No. 2530-01 (EMC 15.16.080), as amended by Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2719-03, Pertaining to Administrative and Planning Director Determinations. WHEREAS, the City did adopt the Local Project Review Procedures (EMC Title 15) in 2001 to establish a comprehensive set of procedures for the processing of land use permits and actions; and WHEREAS, the City has identified amendments to the City's Local Project Review Procedures (EMC Title 15) necessary to provide clarity and effective administration of the City's land use procedures; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the amendments to the City's Local Project Review Procedures (EMC Title 15) promote the best long term interests of the Everett community. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. Section 2(A) of Chapter 4 of Ordinance No. 2530-01 (EMC 15.16.040), which reads as follows: Applicability. Review Process I applies to permit applications that involve minor administrative land use decisions. The focus of minor administrative review is code compliance verification. Review Process I applications shall be reviewed administratively by the planning department staff to determine compliance with the city's zoning code and other applicable ordinances and regulations. If a Review Process I application is not categorically exempt under SEPA, the application shall be processed under Review Process II. Is hereby amended to read as follows: Applicability.
