H. Section 102.7 of the 2006 Edition of the IRC—Existing Structures. Delete <br /> "The International Property Maintenance Code or." <br /> I. Section 105.2 of the 2006 Editions of the IBC and IRC add the word <br /> "platforms"to number 6 (IBC) so that it reads: Sidewalks, platforms and <br /> driveways...; add a number 10 (IRC) which reads: Platforms not over 30 inches <br /> above grade. <br /> J. Section 105.2 of the 2006 Edition of the IRC is amended by replacing the <br /> words "not to exceed 120 square feet(11.15 M)" with"not to exceed 200 square <br /> feet." <br /> K. Section 105.3.1 of the 2006 Editions of the IBC and IRC entitled "Action on <br /> Application" is hereby amended by the addition of the following: <br /> 105.3.1. Number 1: Violation Citation—Order <br /> Notwithstanding any language in this Code, in the event ad time period is <br /> established in: 1) a violation citation issued by a Code Compliance Officer <br /> or the Building Official or his or her designee, or 2) anorer issued by the <br /> Violations Hearing Examiner, said time period shall supersede the time <br /> period provided by this Code. <br /> L. Section 108.3 of the 2006 Editions of the IBC and IRC shall have a new <br /> sentence added to the end of the paragraph as follows: <br /> The value for commonly built structures shall be determined by using <br /> valuation data adopted by the Building Official by policy. <br /> N. Section 112 of the 2006 IBC and Section 112 of the 2006 IRC are hereby <br /> deleted in. <br /> n their entireties, and the following inserted in their place: <br /> Section 112—BOARD OF REVIEW. For the purpose of determining <br /> suitable alternate materials, alternate types and methods of construction <br /> and reasonable interpretations regarding the IBC and the IRC, any person <br /> aggrieved by an order or action of the Building Official who does not have <br /> an enforcement procedure pending pursuant to Chapter 1.20 EMC, may <br /> file a written request with the City Clerk requesting a determination by the <br /> Board of Review. The aggrieved party must file such request within thirty <br /> calendar days from the date of receipt of the written order and shall cause <br /> to be made at his own expense, any tests or research required to <br /> substantiate the request. The Board shall not have any authority to waive <br /> the requirements of this Code, but may approve plans and a time frame for <br /> -3- <br />
