ORDINANCE.NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, <br /> "Citywide Innovative Safety Project,"Fund 303,Program 111,to <br /> accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett is committed to a planned pedestrian safety program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has identified the need and obtained funds to construct certain <br /> pedestrian safety improvements; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement.project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 111, entitled <br /> "Citywide Innovative Safety Project,"to accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 111, for the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director" or"City Engineer,"under <br /> direction of the Mayor,to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and <br /> doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of$711,300 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 111, "Citywide Innovative <br /> Safety Project," as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Design and Construction $ 711,300 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $ 711.300 <br /> B. Source of Funds <br /> Federal Grant-HSIP $ 640,170 <br /> Fund 119—Street Improvements 71,130 <br /> Total Estimated Funds $ 711.300 <br /> 36 <br />
