ORDINANCE NO. <br /> • <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, <br /> "Pacific Avenue to Interurban Trail Bicycle Safety Project,"Fund <br /> 303, Program 112, to accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned bicycle and pedestrian safety <br /> program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has identified the need and obtained funds to construct certain <br /> bicycle and pedestrian safety improvements; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 112, entitled <br /> "Pacific Avenue to Interurban Trail Bicycle Safety Project,"to accumulate all costs for the <br /> improvement.. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 112, for the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the"Public Works Director" or"City Engineer,"under <br /> direction of the Mayor,to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and <br /> doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of$407,300 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 112, "Pacific Avenue to <br /> Interurban Trail Bicycle Safety Project,"as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Design and Construction $407,300 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $ 407,300 <br /> B. Source of Funds <br /> Federal Grant -HSIP $ 366,550 <br /> Fund 119—Street Improvements 40,750 <br /> 56 <br />
