EVERETT COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />School Districts through the State -funded Safe Routes to Schools Grants program. This program <br />will fund completion of existing sidewalks, improvements at intersections and transit facilities, <br />and new sidewalks and pedestrian paths. Safe walk routes will reduce the need for school bus <br />transport and the amount of private vehicles on the road delivering students to schools. <br />TRANSPORTATION ELEMENT 60 <br />
