Accessibility <br /> Both toilet rooms in the first floor offices should be shown on the drawings as <br /> accessible, per ICC A117.1-2009 section 603. <br /> a. The five foot clearance from the wall parallel to the water closet and the sink <br /> should be dimensioned on the drawings, per ICC A117.1-2009 figure 604.3. <br /> b. Stairs should be removed from the entry to the toilet room, to provide a level <br /> access from the offices, per ICC A117.1-2009 section 302. Alternatively, a ramp <br /> can be provided. <br /> c. A clear floor space per ICC A117.1-2009 section 305.3 should be shown on the <br /> drawings per ICC A117.1-2009 section 603.2.2, exception 2. <br /> d. The new residential toilet exhaust on the second floor should be designed as a <br /> whole house fan. <br /> b. Both lower floor commercial toilets and kitchenettes are considered new, since <br /> they were modified without approvals from the`-1994 permit plans. <br /> 2.
