Additional revisions or additions may be <br /> required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br /> (2012 International Building Code,) (2012 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br /> State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the <br /> City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br /> corrections requested, along with a reduced set of plans no larger than 11"x 17". <br /> 1. The construction drawings shall clearly define the location, nature and extent of the <br /> work proposed and show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of this code and <br /> relevant laws, ordinances, rules and regulations. R106 International Residential Code <br /> (IRC). <br /> The permit you are applying for is to convert a garage into a living space. Therefore the <br /> plans you submit are required to show how all components meet the current code <br /> requirements, including the WA State Energy Code (WSEC). <br /> 2. The thermal envelope required insulation in all floors, walls and ceiling, and all doors <br /> and windows must have a U- Value of 0.30 or less. Provide section drawings showing <br /> WSEC requirements. <br /> 3. Show size and location of all doors and windows specify U- Value (U-0.30 Req'd) <br /> 4.
