5.6 Minimum Requirement#6: Runoff Treatment
New pollution generating impervious surfacing in the proposed development will be pre-treated
prior to entering a wetpond by a Vortechs pre-treatment vault. Runoff will then enter a water
quality wetpond sized to fully contain the developed 6-month design storm. The wetpond will
connect into the Glenwood regional facility. The water quality wetpond treating new pollution
generating impervious surfacing will provide up to 85%of the required storage area in a deep (3--
6')
3-6')treatment cell. The remaining required dead storage will be contained within a 15%water
quality treatment cell with an average cell depth of 2 feet.
5.7 Minimum Requirement#7: Flow Control
The Glenwood regional infiltration/detention facility provides streambank erosion control.in
accordance with City of Everett requirements in effect at the time of construction.
5.8 Minimum Requirement#8: Wetlands Protection
There are no wetlands onsite or adjacent to the site.
5.9 Minimum Requirement#9: Basin/Watershed Planning
This project is not within a water quality sensitive area and as such, the requirements specified in
the City Ordinance will be used to design the stormwater facilities. In order to ensure that
downstream water quality and streambank stabilization are not jeopardized, onsite treatment and
detention are proposed.
5.10 Minimum Requirement#10: Operation and Maintenance
A Stormwater Facilities Operation and Maintenance Manual will be provided in Appendix D
prior to construction.
•
DAVID EvANS AND ASSOCIATES,INC.
UNDERWOOD GARTLAND EVERETT FEBRUARY 3,2015
STORMWATER SITE PLAN PAGE 6
