March 7, 2018 <br /> Council Member Stonecipher inquired about the current billing practice: <br /> what is billed monthly vs. bi-monthly. <br /> Paul Kaftanski, Administration, stated this information will be provided to the <br /> Council. <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA: <br /> Districting process per Council Resolution <br /> Presented by Council President Roberts; Jim Iles and Flora <br /> Diaz, Legal; David Stalheim, Planning <br /> Council Member Moore suggested comparing demographics with Everett <br /> Public Schools. <br /> Discussion took place regarding a number of districting issues including a <br /> description of the process as well as a timeline, the formation of an <br /> independent committee, consideration of a transition process, facilitator <br /> involvement, importance of providing information in different languages, <br /> identifying the plusses and minuses of districting, a consideration of the 6:1 <br /> district option and the need to engage the community including Everett <br /> Districts Now (EDN). <br /> President Roberts asked council members to submit their suggestions to <br /> Deb Williams, Council Administrator, within next week. <br /> Pat Fogarty-Cramer, Everett, spoke in support of the EDN proposal and <br /> thanked Council for their leadership. <br /> Diane Claussen, Everett, spoke in support of EDN's proposal and <br /> expressed her appreciation to Council Member Moore. <br /> Snohomish County Emergency Radio System (SERS) <br /> Presented by Jim Lever, Police Department; Ralph Krusey <br /> and Craig Boyd, Snohomish County Emergency Radio <br /> System (SERS) <br /> 88 <br />
