ORDINANCE NO. 1/ d -f�--- AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property generally located southeast of Lowell including a portion of the Lowell Snohomish River Road to the City of Everett. WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13. 130, a petition was presented to the City Council of the City of Everett proposing the annexation of certain property; and WHEREAS, the petition which was filed pursuant to RCW 25.13. 130 was signed by owners of not less than seventy-five percent in value according to the assessed valuation for general taxes of the property proposed to be annexed; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, did fix July 2)4, 1985, for hearing upon said petition, and cause notice of hearing to be published in one issue of the Everett Herald, a newspaper of general circulation in the City, and caused said notice also to be posted in three places within the territory proposed for annexation, which notice as published and as posted specified the time and place of hearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval of the annexation; and WHEREAS, following the hearing, the Council of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, has determined to annex all of the property described in the petition as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board did, at their November 12 , 1985 public hearing, vote to approve the annexation; and WHEREAS, the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board has issued its written findings on December 10 , 1985, to this effect. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the property hereinafter described, be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Everett: A portion of the Northeast Quarter of Section 5, Township 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M., situated in Snohomish County, State of Washington, described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 5; thence easterly along the -1-
