These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the (2009 International Building Code,) (2009 International Residential Code,) as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2009 Edition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. 1. If structure is heated, show energy code compliance for all walls, ceiling and floor. 2. Specify "brackets" and "hangers" called out on plans. (U26 or LU26 hangers will not work with 2x4's). 3. Provide foundation plan. Show location and size of all footings supporting uniform loads and all concrete pads supporting point loads. 4. Note on drawing to "verify footing", specify minimum footing size and reinforcement. 5. Garages are required to have floors of approved non-combustible material. The area of the floor used for parking of automobiles or other vehicles shall be sloped to facilitate the movement of liquids to a drain or toward the main vehicle entry doorway. 6.
