Below please find our
responses to the issues raised in the comment letter:
1. Public Works: Sabrina Fandler
/In general, the following comments apply:
i. Please update the project's address on the cover page and in each sheet's title block to
/correctly show the project's assigned address: 905 80th St SW.
V Response: The revised plans include the project's assigned address.
4/7• The grading and drainage notes reference a survey with a date that is currently shown as
" 's". Please fill in the appropriate date for accurate referencing during construction.
espouse: The survey date has been updated in the revised plans.
i'
V . The grading notes reference a maximum slope of 3:1, however there are several slopes
shown on the plan set that are much steeper than 3:1. Please re-grade these areas or add
in retaining walls if necessary to conform to the required max slope criteria. If re-grading
is not feasible/practicable due to site constraints, you may be able to work with the
Planner(John Jimerson) to see if 2:1 slopes and steeper will be allowed since that gets
into critical slopes which is an environmental concern. If any agreement is made, please
jiclude in a comment response letter with your plan resubmittal.
esponse: Maximum slopes of 2:1 will be allowed based upon the geotechnical
recommendations and coordination with John Jimerson on 5/20/16.
Please call out all stormwater structures per City of Everett Standards. For example, we
7
have Type A and Type B structures rather than WSDOT's Type 1 and 1 L. Please call out
per the correct name and standard drawing number in our Design and Construction
Standards and Specifications for Development manual. As long as the correct standard
drawing number is called out, we do not need those details in the plan set (preferred
