Total <br /> Land Use Unit and Quantity Water Sewer Charge <br /> Single Family 1 at 2,500 sq. ft. $224 $589 $813 <br /> Duplex 2 dwelling units $261 $688 $949 <br /> Triplex 3 dwelling units $346 $909 $1,255 <br /> Multi-Family 4 or more dwelling units $115 $303 $418 per unit <br /> Mobil Homes Each mobile home unit $141 $371 $512 <br /> Industrial or commercial structures - $520 per 900 cu. ft. per month of <br /> estimated sewage effluent ($520 minimum charge); provided that 27.5% of <br /> the total charge shall be appropriated to the water system. <br /> Section 2: The said connection charges shall be assessed based on the number <br /> of units in the structure to be connected, regardless of whether the units are connected <br /> to the public sewer system line in common or individually. <br /> Section 3: The Director of Public Works shall establish rules, regulations and <br /> procedures for administration of the said fees. <br /> Section 4: In the event that the property to be connected has paid or is paying <br /> an assessed amount under ULID #1, said property shall be exempt from the sewer <br /> charges assessed herein and the lateral and trunk connection charges under EMC <br /> 14.04.090, 14.04.100, 14.04.110 and 14.04.120; provided that said exemption shall not <br /> apply to the special connection charge established herein for new connections or <br /> reconnections to the water system. <br /> Section 5: In the event that the proposed improvement on property to be <br /> connected to the Everett sewer system constitutes a major project under SEPA <br /> guidelines, the Mayor or his designee may use the fees established herein as a guideline <br /> for mitigation of sewer and water system impacts. <br /> Section 6: Charges for new projects with an estimated water demand in <br /> excess of 200,000 cu. ft. per month shall be determined on a case-by-case basis related <br /> to its immediate short term and long term impact on the sewer and water systems. <br /> Said determinations shall use $520 per 900 cu. ft. per month of estimated water demand <br /> to calculate the total charge. The total charge may be reduced or increased based on <br /> the following considerations: <br /> a. Proximity to the sewage treatment plant. <br /> b. Pumping requirements to supply water to the proposed <br /> development. <br /> c. Pumping requirements to convey the proposed development's <br /> sewage effluent to the sewage treatment plant. <br /> 3 <br />
