• Section 3: A new section is added to Ordinance No. 172-71 which reads as <br /> follows: <br /> "Section 10: Sales of Fuels from Card Lock or Key-type Dispensing <br /> Mechanisms. <br /> All card lock and key-type fuel metering and computing devices shall: <br /> 1. Display the price per gallon or price per liter; provided, that if <br /> motor fuel is offered for sale by the liter, the price per liter must <br /> be clearly displayed on the dispenser directly adjacent to the <br /> corresponding price per gallon, with the information appearing in <br /> contrasting letters of at least two inches in height; <br /> 2. Indicate the amount of fuel delivered during a single transaction; <br /> 3. Register the selling price per unit; <br /> 4. Register the total selling price for a single transaction; <br /> 5. Compute the price per gallon or liter as set forth in National <br /> Bureau of Standards Handbook 44. [Order No. 1794, effective <br /> May 11, 1983] " <br /> Section 4: A new section is added to Ordinance No. 172-71 which reads as <br /> follows: <br /> "Section 11: Equipment Testing. <br /> In accordance with EMC 9.70.100, access for Weights and Measures <br /> testing of the equipment must be available within 24 hours of request by <br /> the Everett City Sealer. Each service station operating a card or key <br /> operated dispenser or pump shall provide the City Sealer with a letter <br /> indicating the name and phone number of a company contact person." <br /> Section 5: A new section is added to Ordinance No. 172-71 which reads as <br /> follows: <br /> "Section 12: Printed Delivery Ticket For Card Lock Systems. <br /> On each delivery of fuel there shall be rendered to the purchaser, at the <br /> time of delivery, a delivery ticket or a written statement on which, in ink <br /> or by means of other indelible marking equipment and, in clarity, equal to <br /> type or printing, there shall be clearly stated: (1) the name and address of <br /> the vendor, (2) the name of the purchaser, (3) the identity of the type of <br /> fuel comprising the delivery, (4) the unit price per gallon or liter of the <br /> fuel delivered, and (5) the liquid volume of the delivery, together with any <br /> meter readings from which such liquid volume has been computed, <br /> expressed in terms of the gallon or liter and its binary or decimal <br /> subdivision." <br /> Section 6: A new section is added to Ordinance No. 172-71 which reads as <br /> follows: <br /> "Section 13: Emergency Shut-Off Switch; Contact Person For Service. <br /> All service stations utilizing card lock or key-type fuel dispensing <br /> mechanisms shall have within thirty (30) to fifty (50) feet from the <br /> dispensing mechanism an emergency shut-off switch which is at all times <br /> readily accessible and identifiable to the operator of the dispensing <br />
