Incumbents In these positions do not independenfly perforin the full range of duties normally expected of a joimeyaevel worker. Positions In this class are assigned full time to a bridge mantenance crew. Typical Work On steel structures, assists In the heat straightening repairs or damaged steel railings and members and fabrication of steel replacement members: makes deck and sidewalk repars; deans and paints steel; assists in repaint to expansion joints; On concrete structures. repairs railings, sidewalks, decks. columns. piers and bulkheads; builds forms and pours concrete: assists In repairs to expansion joints; On wood structures, repairs railings. sidewalks, decks. wheel rails and bulkheads; drives piling and installs false work and bents.
