LINE OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SAID NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SAID <br /> SECTION 24 TO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER THEREOF; THENCE, WEST ALONG <br /> THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SAID NORTHWEST <br /> QUARTER TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER THEREOF; THENCE, NORTH ALONG <br /> THE WEST LINE OF SAID NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 24 TO <br /> INTERSECT THE SOUTHEASTERLY LINE OF LOT 3, BLOCK 2, PLAT OF <br /> RANCHO INTERCITY ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN <br /> VOLUME 12 OF PLATS, PAGE 46, RECORDS OF SNOHOMISH COUNTY; <br /> THENCE, SOUTHWEST ALONG SAID SOUTHEASTERLY LINE TO THE <br /> SOUTHERLY MOST CORNER OF SAID LOT 3; THENCE, NORTHWESTERLY <br /> ALONG THE SOUTHWESTERLY LINE OF SAID LOT 3 AND THE <br /> NORTHWESTERLY EXTENSION THEREOF TO INTERSECT THE WESTERLY <br /> RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF HOLLY DRIVE (AKA BEVERLY PARK-EDMONDS <br /> ROAD); THENCE NORTHEASTERLY ALONG SAID WESTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY <br /> LINE TO INTERSECT THE EAST LINE OF THE WEST HALF OF THE <br /> NORTHWEST QUARTER OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 24; <br /> THENCE, SOUTH ALONG SAID EAST LINE OF SAID SUBDIVISION OF SAID <br /> SECTION TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING, TOGETHER WITH THE 108TH <br /> STREET SW RIGHT-OF-WAY. <br /> Section 2: That upon annexation of the property herein above set <br /> forth, said property thereof annexed shall become a part of the City of <br /> Everett, a municipal corporation, and shall be subject to all of its laws <br /> and ordinances then and thereafter in force. Upon annexation of the <br /> above-described property, all of said property shall be assessed and taxed <br /> at the same rate on the same basis as other property located within the <br /> City of Everett is assessed and taxed, to pay for any then outstanding <br /> indebtedness of the City of Everett contracted prior. to or existing at the <br /> date of this annexation. In addition, the annexed area will remain <br /> responsible unto any other lawfully formed municipal corporation to which <br /> the property is obligated at the time of annexation subject to a specific <br /> lien. Further, the City of Everett may incur additional operating expenses <br /> in supplying water or sewage unto persons who are located within the <br /> annexed area.
