3) The applicant shall post the property with a large <br /> sign at least fifteen (15) days prior to the public <br /> hearing. This sign shall be organized, placed and <br /> built to the specifications of this Ordinance and <br /> Application Instructions as defined by the City's <br /> Planning Department. All large signs described <br /> herein are exempt from the city's zoning and sign <br /> codes. All signs required to be posted shall remain <br /> in place until the final decision has been reached on <br /> the preliminary subdivision. Following that <br /> decision, the applicant must remove the sign within <br /> fourteen (14) days. The signs shall be as follows: <br /> a. Sign size shall be 4' x 8' ; <br /> b. All letters and numbers shall be Helvetica <br /> style; black letters and numbers with white <br /> background; <br /> c. Required information on sign: <br /> 1) Notice of Public Hearing (3" CAPS <br /> letters); <br /> 2) Applicant and Application Number (1 .5 <br /> letters & numbers); <br /> 3) Address of property (1.5" letters and <br /> numbers>; <br /> 4) Proposal (1.5" letters and numbers) ; <br /> 5) Location and time of public hearing <br /> (1.5" letters and numbers) ; <br /> 6) To submit comments or to obtain <br /> additional information, "Contact City of <br /> Everett Planning Department, Land Use <br /> Section, City Hall, Everett, WA 98201, <br /> 259-8731 (1.5" letters and numbers)"; <br /> 7) Sketch drawing of preliminary <br /> subdivision showing lots, adjacent <br /> street and alleys, north arrow and scale <br /> (3' x 3' ). <br /> d. All large signs shall be located so that they <br /> can be read clearly from adjacent streets. The <br /> signs shall be at midpoint of the street <br /> frontage ten (10) feet from the front property <br /> line unless otherwise directed by the City. <br /> Top of signs must be between seven (7) and nine <br /> (9) feet above grade; <br /> e. Organization, construction, and mounting of <br /> large signs shall be as defined in the City's <br /> Application Instructions. <br /> -8- <br />
