po • ORDINANCE NO. ////-Y3-- AN ///-/5+AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property in an area north of 100th Street S.E. in the vicinity of 19th Avenue S.E. WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.130, a petition was presented to the City Council of the City of Everett proposing the annexation of certain property; and WHEREAS, the petition which was filed pursuant to RCW 35.13.130 was signed by owners of not less than seventy-five percent in value according to the assessed valuation for general taxes of the property proposed to be annexed; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, did fix December 26, 1984, for a hearing upon said petition, and cause notice of hearing to be published in one issue of the Everett Herald, a newspaper of general circulation in the City, and caused said notice also to be posted in three places within the territory proposed for annexation, which notice as published and as posted specified the time and place of hearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval of the annexation; and WHEREAS, following the hearing, the Council of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, has determined to annex all of the property described in the petition as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board did approve the annexation and issued its written findings on January 23, 1985, to this effect. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERET DOES ORDAIN: Section 1 : That the property hereinafter described, be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Everett: The east 100 feet of the south 100 feet of the following described tract: The West Half of the West Half of the South Half of the South Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 17, Township 28 N, Range 5 E. W.M.; all situate in Snohomish County, Washington; LESS County roads. 1262G
