. <br /> Section 2: That upon annexation of the property herein above set forth, said <br /> property thereof annexed shall become a part of the City of Everett, a <br /> municipal corporation, and shall be subject to all of its laws and ordinances <br /> then and thereafter in force. Upon annexation of the above-described <br /> property, all of said property shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate on <br /> the same basis as other property located within the City of Everett is <br /> assessed and taxed, to pay for any then outstanding indebtedness of the City <br /> of Everett contracted prior to or existing at the date of this annexation. In <br /> addition, the annexed area will remain responsible unto any other lawfully <br /> formed municipal corporation to which the property is obligated at the time of <br /> annexation subject to a specific lien. Further, the City of Everett may incur <br /> additional operating expenses in supplying water or sewage unto persons who <br /> are located within the annexed area.
